Kevin Hong is a director of collaborative design studio. Prior to starting the studio, Kevin worked for RIBA award winning offices, Loyn & Co Architects in Cardiff, and DSDHA in London. Prior to practice in the UK, he gained extensive experience practicing in Chicago working in all aspects of architecture project implementation. His extensive experience leading a project includes work on several education, community and residential commissions including Margam Park Environmental Discovery Centre (with dru-Wales) and Pond Meadow Special Needs School, Guildford.
Born in South Korea and raised in Canada, Kevin studied architecture at the School of Architecture at the University of Illinois in Chicago, receiving his professional degree prior to continuing his studies in London with a MA in Architecture with Distinction. Kevin is a registered architect in the USA with NCARB.
Kevin is an external tutor at the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University in the undergraduate program, as well as an external critic in the MA in Urban Design course.
