Courtyard – Academy of Communications Technology Charter School

Commissioned by the school through CLAY to improve a disused exterior space between the school and church, an after-school workshop was set up for students to learn basic carpentry skills, in which students would make timber elements designed to be placed in a school courtyard. The design needed to maintain efficient and simple fabrication whilst offering flexibility within the courtyard.
