This project provides new offices for RSAW in an existing building in Cardiff. A modest budget and extremely tight programme drove a strategy of the reuse and reconfiguration of furniture elements as means to organise the existing space into an entry gallery/ bookshop, work desks and lounge/ kitchenette. Simple, warm materials- construction grade timber and ‘Homasote’ acoustic board - were used throughout to 'soften' the space and express the construction method.
